Gimme More
She actually has the balls to make her fans wait 4 years for another album after what was probably one of her biggest albums to date - ITZ. But now she's back, and she'll make the wait worth it with the very sexy Gimme More. You can stream it on breatheheavy.com. I am speechless as well, it'll be cool to see how well this song'll do. It's just amazing to hear her voice on some new material.

Hall 12 FOC 3
We started the day by playing pool games. There were a couple of really exciting ones that I enjoyed, but certainly not this one! I think I almost drowned on my second attempt due to the fact that we kept heading for deeper waters. It was a good idea to let the girls do the fighting though! Haha...
The OGs were really competitive and there were fierce fights but it's good that we took the time out to take some nice smiley photos just to lighten up the mood a little bit!
I like this photo a lot, although I think I have to work on my non-smiley expression.
We played even more games... this one was fun and safe, with plenty of hilarious situations when the rings crossed each other.
I like this a lot, wished I'd done it one more time! After that there was the silly game of Charades underwater and I had all the luck of being the first one and the word was "pole-dance". Apparently I was so impressivive that they got me to do it on dry land too!

We all got ready for SP night. It was quite freaky as we had to try to impress the GLs and everything, and for us it was really frustrating, but we got through it in the end. I accomplished my mission by singing Everytime! Haha... shocked!
Terence and Wei Siang had to impress our OG girls and they ended up licking kaya off each other's face!

Phuture Bash
I've sprained my back. It hurts when I breathe hard enough. I try desperately to find a position to sneeze that doesn't make my back feel like it's going to break, but apparently it doesn't exist. I think I got it from my overly vigorous dancing prior to the performance yesterday.
I'm really exhausted today, but I feel like that almost everyday now. I think it comes from the constant "pushing" of limits and challenges of school and hall. I love it, because it makes me feel more alive than I've ever felt, but sometimes I just wish that I had the entire weekend to sleep, to shake off all the tiredness and start the week fresh.
I enjoyed myself a lot yesterday, from the OP fitting to getting my hair done at Hair Profile (again!) at Far East, and then cabbing down to Phuture for rehearsals and make up. I was like a kid in a candy floor when the dance floor was empty and the music was pumping... It was fantastic to have the place to ourselves and we did enjoy every moment of it. It's more of the fact that there was no audience and we had a lot of fun doing what we've always done, dancing, the catwalk and stuff like that.
The performance itself was a different story though. We waited for more than half an hour after 8 before we began. We had alcohol courtesy of our bosses. I thought I did the dancing okay till I missed this entire sequence of steps and then I sort of lost balance during the first step of the pair dance with Jing Ying, but I think it ended well. After that was the catwalk followed by the Q & A, which was made a whole lot funnier because of Jaren and Daren. Seriously. I was more or less comfortable, but I did tense up when I was supposed to answer which is my best asset. I ended up shaking my butt twice crappily. I demand I have a second chance to prove that I can do it as well as Ricky Martin. It was hilarious to have Jaren ask me when I did my practising and my roomie to answer that I did it in the room while I was on the bed and he was on the floor. Kinda retarded but yeah...
The easiest but probably most sian thing was standing there with the voting box and waiting for everyone to vote for their Mr Popular. I only got one person whom I didn't know coming up to me, but yeah, it was great to see Colin, Peijun, Shujing, Ivan etc. etc. I am thankful that voting won't be done the same way again next week. Spare me.
It was an almost totally different situation for the girls who had tonnes of people flocking to them. Haha... it was quite a cool sight, cos everyone had their supporters! Violent voting.
My favourite part was when it all ended and I drank with my OG, I drank with Elyn and her friends, I drank with Ian and his friends as well. It was enough to keep me real high for the rest of the night (and the music SUCKED BIG TIME) and I was quite close to puking, although my mind was clear and I was coherent... I think I danced pretty well though, considering the lack of space. I got commented that I danced like an ah peh. Kaoz... never seen my true power yet! Haha... I do realise that you've to reach a certain high point to dance with wild abandon. And I've also finally realised why the very digusting "This Is Why I'm Hot" Mims song is popular. There're just songs you need to hear in a club to appreciate. Even I liked it when it came on!
The most important thing was hanging out with friends in hall... Kind of bonded on a deeper level with a few more people despite how clubbing is a somewhat superficial social activity!
By the time I reached home my ears were still ringing and I was beginning to get a bit of a headache. Thankfully I don't have a hangover this morning! I still have 4 tuition kids to teach.
Lastly, I'd like to thank Daniel, Yu Lian and Peijun for their SMSes of encouragement and Ivan, Shu Qi and Angel for coming down. Rock on!

Depressed
It really didn't bother me that my OG wasn't going to turn up at the bash tomorrow. I just assumed that people didn't club, people had other commitments or the fact that there just wasn't enough people going. Heck, there're 3 people from Tintin in the pageant. If we can't make up for numbers on the floor, we've already made up for our numbers on stage.
But some silly misunderstanding happened. I was told that the pageant people actually told our own OG not to come. I mean... does that even make sense?! How can you stop people from joining a hall activity if, all along, they had the intention to? And that we were going to be there as well, by example.
It sucks to have tried and failed. I mean, it's okay if you have something on, but if you don't why not come down and join the fun? It's a hall thing, we support each other through all the activities that we have... so why not this one?
I need to stop feeling like I'm the only one trying.

Hall 12 FOC 2
I know FOC happened 2 weeks ago, but the photos are just too interesting to not be posted so here they are, Day 2!
We made our way down to Sentosa for beach games and I enjoyed myself tremendously. There was a bit of soccer.
And volleyball.
The kind of team-spirit that I crave. I got to play a lot because we were lacking in guys, so it was quite cool to try my hand again at so many sports that I haven't played in quite awhile.
Frisbee, and also captain's ball.
We were all bloody tired after that and went to have our lunch. We also played a rather stupid but enjoyable game which involves slapping each others' thighs! I suddenly recall having a photo of Siting violently attacking Roland, but I haven't prepared it yet. Maybe after all this there'll be another miscellaneous post with more photos! Hahaha...
In this game we're supposed to turn and roll along like some conveyor belt and transport one of our seniors over a certain distance! It was quite fun though Glenn said he had a lot of elbows and knees poking him and that hurt! Haha...
The last game was building a sandcastle and attacking each others' sandcastle with water bombs. I thought that was really hilarious and I thought Tintin's one withstood the hits pretty well!
Nothing much went on at night, other than meeting our SPs for the first time! More on that on Day 3!

Pageant Preview
I've been busy preparing for the upcoming pageant preview that's happening this Saturday. It involves a lot of practice. I'm damn tired from today's trip to the modelling agency and then learning the dance, not to mention fron the day's lessons! It's like there's stuff stuffed into my head continuously... Anyway here're the photos from the day before where we practised in the function hall.

Hall 12 FOC 1
We had ice-breakers.
We planned for the the skit for the finale night.
We cheered at all the stations of the campus race. There're some super scandalous photos of me balancing a ping pong ball with Yu Lian using our mouths, and the really disgusting sandwhich-making session where we passed the ingredients using our bodies...
We're supposed to move like a roller... but we sort of cheated.
We made our way proudly to the opening ceremony of our FOC!
Initiation night was hell. I'm sure you guys want to see unglam photos... but I ain't having any of those here! Well, okay, maybe if you ask nicely, we'll have a part two to this entry!
It finally ended... I was shivering like mad and the finale was really insane! Gosh... Wo yao kan dao wo de lian! Wo yao kan dao wo de lian! Woooooooooooooo!
