Day Break

For the past couple of months, I've reached home at day break more times than I've woken up to see it. While taking that short walk back home, I always wonder why I don't make an effort to appreciate the beautiful dawn of day.

This morning it was almost fairytale-like. The sky was filled with clouds that looked like cotton candy and the sunlight filtered lazily through. It wasn't the least glaring. It gave everything a soft light and a blue hue. It felt peaceful and calming.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get my ass up early from bed and catch that elusive moment of day that I've been sleeping through all the time.
