Bravo Chalet II

Have a bit of time now... so here goes nothing!

This has got to be one of my favourite photographs taken during the chalet. My buddy, me, Terence and Daniel!

After we booked into the chalet, we wasted no time getting out all the decks of cards to play tai ti and Bridge! That's Sgt Gary in the middle!

Right, so the buffet dinner didn't taste that good after all but still, it was nice of the commanders to help us take food! Haha... or maybe they just didn't want us to jam up the queue. The guy in light blue is my platoon sgt.

And here's the bunch of them at the dining table 'enjoying' the dinner. Hmmm...

This was what we had for lunch after the run! I cannot think of any other time that I was more grateful for a McDonald's meal. I think it costed 170+ dollars over all. That's a crazy amount of food ya'll! It took two delivery guys to deliver it to us. Wow.

Everyone - hungry and anticipating the food...

At night, we had some entertainment thingy where each platoon had to come up with one performance. Being platoon one, we were the first ones to kick off the show.

Most of the platoon was already waiting eagerly because they knew what was coming up. Everyone looked pretty amused.

Me, Terence and a few guys escorted the performers and we couldn't help laughing ourselves. It was a highly... humorous sight to put it tamely.

It's Daniel and Daniel dressed up as Twins and singing Xing Guang You Le Yuan, with Bryan on the guitar! The singing was pretty soft but that didn't make our item any less entertaining. Our platoon sang the lalala part together...

Even the commanders found it very hilarious. The one on the right most is our PC! He had some expectations for our performance and specifically told them to dress up like Twins. Guess it worked!

Jian Hong, Sern Hong and Ting Yu and I playing asshole tai ti. Don't really know why everyone's looking a tad listless, perhaps everyone was stunned by the camera? In the other room...

The other guys were busy playing big money on Blackjack! Haha... I don't know why they're covering their faces but they were having fun over there. Big time.

Oh yeah, and this was the second last group pic that we took as a platoon after we booked out from the chalet. Everyone looked like they had a good time!

And this is a photo taken by our Platoon Sgt. In addition to the platoon pioneers are Sgt Jintong, Sgt Weizhi and Sgt Ernest!

Right, that's pretty much it for this weekend. There's a lack of music updates and all, but I'll be back to do something about it whenever I can. It's almost like army's a 9to5 thing at the rate that I'm booking out these days. The freaking test is tomorrow and I hope I pass it and don't have to redo it any more. Sheesh.

Credits: Oh yeah, and a humungous thanks to Sgt Ernest who brought his camera along to take all the great photos (and to others who helped take photos) and for taking the time to upload them. You can check out the photos at better quality (and the entire set in completion) here.
