First of all, I'd like to say that SexyBack is an amazing song. I don't understand why the Americans don't get it. If I'm not wrong, it's not even Top 50 on BB. I'm repulsed. But let's not even mention 98.7's chart, which seriously sucks balls. I love the new music which they daringly play, but the chart's rigged! Honestly. And Justin Timberlake isn't in there either. I'm not trying to justify that it's a good song, because everyone else likes it too! But what's the point of having a chart which doesn't reflect decent taste, right? The only other "big" chart that I see it doing well is AR 40 with Ryan Seacrest where it moves up 13 notches to #19. Oh, and the picture accompanying isn't irrelevant. Look closely!

At #02 leaping up 5 places is Orson. The track's really growing on me. However, I think I'm a bit slow to appreciate their music as their next single Happiness is set to be released in the UK in a couple of weeks.

I just have the overwhelming urge to congratulate Fergie who hits gold by reaching #1 with her first ever solo single on Billboard. Although she got it mostly due to the tremendous downloads the song has been getting, I believe it's a matter of time till she overthrows Nelly to get to the top on Pop 100. She's not doing too shabby on my chart either, climbing up 7 to #5!

At #7 are the Rogue Traders, a band from Australia. If I'm not wrong, Izzy, the front woman of the band is from Neighbours, a TV drama which has spawned the likes of Kylie and Natalie Imbruglia. Feel free to correct me though! She's got a fantastic voice and you can hear/see her sing live here. She's got attitude, looks kind of like Blondie (she's 31 already!) and I heard the album is fantastic. I'm watching the performance as we speak, and I think she's certainly got the presence! It isn't one of Vodoo Child though! For that one, you've got to check here.

It's as if I'm featuring obscure bands and trying to make them famous. I'm not. They're famous to being with, just that we don't get the really good stuff here. Oh and Janet's Call On Me (at #8)is getting really boring. What happened to the woman who managed to give us All For You? Oh, and Keane's going down real fast. I've got to make way for the second single, Crystal Ball (brought to my attention by Esotism).

#10 sees the arrival of Nelly Furtado's Maneater, which first conquered the more Pop orientated countries, while Promiscuous made it rounds on the R&B-orientated ones like USA and Australia. As much as I like the new Nelly, I can't help that feel that she has totally abandoned her roots and what she was before. I used to hate her for how un-mainstream she sounded, but she seems to be going in the right direction. I don't have an opposing opinion if you manage to sell a million in 6 weeks of release. No ma'am.

At #15 is a slice of pure pop music to my ears. Ring Ring Ring is a new track which can be found on S.H.E.'s compilation, which I'm really tempted to get. It looks like they've put all their best works into this one!

There's nothing else I'd like to say except for the fact that there's another band which has come to my attention recently. I heard the song on radio and loved it, but then I forgot about it! It's a track called Rooftops by The Lost Prophets, who are from the UK! If I'm not wrong, they've contributed a track to The OC soundtrack before. I just can't remember the title!

Other new songs that are on their way to charts around the world include Outkast - The Mighty O, Panic! At the Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off (pity the DJs who've got to read that out! It's about 3 words more than the longest title I've seen, which is Nsync's God Must've Spent A Little More Time On You), Rihanna - We Ride, Evanesence - Call Me When You're Sober (MUST get on the charts next week), Nick Lachey - I Can't Hate You Anymore (which sorely lacks a punch on first listen!) and P.Diddy featuring Nicole Scherzinger - Come To Me. Yeah, that's Nicole-lead-singer-of-Pussycat-Dolls-fame with P.Diddy-also-known-as-Puff-Daddy-Sean-Combs-whatever.

As for the Pussycat Dolls, I'm just confused at what they're releasing next. They've got singles all over the place. Someone enlighten me.
